H2S removal by copper enriched porous carbon cuboids

چکیده

Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) removal by adsorption from gas streams is crucial to prevent the environmental and industrial damage it causes. Amongst nanostructures considered excellent candidates as sorbents, porous carbon has been studied extensively over last years. In present work we a synthetic procedure for three high potential sorbents based on cuboids, namely low-surface-area copper-rich structure, highly aggregate without metal addition, lastly same decorated with copper. The properties performance catalysts of these were evaluated powder X-ray diffraction, photoelectron spectroscopy, thermal analysis, scanning electron microscopy energy dispersive surface area determination through N2 desorption, well H2S measurements.
